The Zoom G2.1Nu is one of two guitar-effects pedals (G2.1Nu, Zoom G2Nu) that both feature 100 preset guitar sounds, 20 of which were created by world-renowned guitarist Steve Vai. Additional presets can be downloaded for free online via patches. Plus both units can also operate an an audio interface, allowing users to record audio directly to a PC via an integrated USB interface. As an upgrade from the original G2Nu, the G2.1Nu adds along a built-in expression pedal to control effect parameters such as wah, pitch shift, volume, drive gain, modulation rate, or delay/reverb mix in real time. Plus it sports a dedicated pedal-assign key for selecting the effect you want to control on any patch setting. Included also is a large LCD display for keeping track of what’s going on.
