Pros

If observing site is dark or slightly light polluted, this filter helps to focus in on deep-sky objects and get rid of unwanted glow.

This filter will also enhance the planets, as well as the stars, even when a bright moon glow is in the sky.

Edit

The Zhumell 1.25 Inch High Performance Urban Sky Filter's intended use is for viewing deep-sky objects like emission nebulae more clearly by darkening the background sky. It darkens the background sky by blocking mercury vapor light transmissions and enhancing transmission in the hydrogen beta, doubly ionized oxygen and hydrogen alpha regions of the spectrum. This sky filter is meant to improve the view of nebulae galaxies and clusters by blocking the common wavelengths of light pollution, so that less time can be spent searching and more time can be spent observing.
