Edit

The ZM-MIC 1 is an inexpensive microphone from Zalman. Engineered to be clipped onto a headphone, the ZM-MIC 1 replaces the need to buy an expensive and often inferior sounding headset by allowing you to add microphone functionality to any pair of headphones. Unfortunately, the ZM-MIC 1 was designed specifically for Zalman's own headphone line - making the main clip and wire clips unadjustable for use with anything else.

Features
  • Sensitivity: -40 ±3dB
  • Sound to noise ratio: 58dB +
  • Directivity: Omnidirectional

Well the idea of a cheap clip on microphone is great - but the implementation in this product is all wrong. It is only designed to be used with Zalman's own line of headphones so the clip is not adjustable and pretty much unusable with anything else. Luckily it was only $12.
