Edit

The Yamaha YHT-590 home theatre system forgoes the included DVD player of more expensive models in the line, as well as some features, but it still offers the same 5.1 surround sound experience. It still supports both Dolby and dts Digital Surround encoding, as well as Yamaha's own CinemaDSP processing, which isolates and manages each individual speaker's output for more accurate reproduction. XM and Sirius satellite radio are not supported by this receiver, but it is still iPod and Bluetooth device compatible. Also included for accessibility is Yamaha's SCENE customizable default function buttons, which simplify playback in all the most likely situations.
