The Yamaha YHT-495 is a 5.1 channel home theater system designed for small to medium sized rooms. This is similar to the Yamaha YHT-395 base model, but uses slightly larger speakers. It is followed in the series by the Yamaha YHT-595, which adds a number of features including automatic speaker calibration, a USB input, and an on-screen GUI. Common features between the 3 models include 8 ohm output at 100 watts per channel to the satellites and an 8 inch subwoofer with its own 100 watt power supply. HDMI v1.4a connections enable 3D video at full 1080p high definition, and a number of Dolby and DTS standards are available for use in addition to the audio return channel. All processing of audio signals runs through a 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC on every channel at 192kHz for the highest quality audio output.
