The Yamaha PSR-S700 is a mid-range workstation keyboard released in September, 2007. This arranger workstation is a step down from the PSR-S710, as this model has lower polyphonic capabilities, fewer built-in voices and a smaller library of effects. The Yamaha PSR-S700 prominently features Yamaha’s MegaVoices, which are a set of sound effects designed to enhance the playback of built-in styles. A LAN port has been integrated, allowing for music to be downloaded directly to the PSR-S700. This workstation keyboard also features two USB ports, allowing musicians to record songs or play back midi files from a computer. Flash thumb drives, floppy drives and hard drives are also compatible through an included adapter.
