Edit

As its name suggests, the Yamaha EZ-200 is a musical keyboard tailored for the beginning piano player with helpful features such as a light-up keyboard, the Yamaha Education Suite, computer connectivity and basic sound quality. The 61 keys not only light up to indicate which notes to play but are also Touch Sensitive, producing loud or soft notes depending on how hard the player strikes them. From the LCD display, the Yamaha Education Suite instructs players with three different lesson modes to suit their style of learning, provides a handy chord dictionary, and charts players' progress. For easy interface with a computer, the EZ-200 is MIDI compatible and more MIDIs can be added from the internet to the 100 songs already built into the player. Although its a beginner keyboard, Yamaha has also included sound quality features such as Reverb technology, Real Stereo, 32 Note Polyphony and 16 Part Trimbel (for handling multiple voices at once) and a library of 367 voices. Note that the EZ-200 does not include protection, but a Survival Kit offering a 2 year extended warranty, power adapter and DVD-ROM is also available.
