Winegard's MS-2002 is identical in design to the MS-2000. The only difference is that this model does not include either a support mast (for mounting) or any cables to connect to an internal A/V system. This difference means that the MS-2002 is less expensive. This model's amplifier boosts the antenna's range to a maximum 35 miles, but it should not be installed any less than 15 miles away from a transmitter or else it can overload. It can receive both Lo- and Hi-VHF signals, as well as UHF ones, and is an outdoor antenna that should be mounted on the roof.  This model does not have a rotor and therefore must be rotated manually to ensure desired signal reception. The omni-directional reception can in some cases produce image ghosting as well. Ultimately, this model is best for picking up signals from multiple towers that are close to the home.
