Winegard's HD7082P is an HDTV antenna and falls in the higher-end of their lineup, mainly because of its complete VHF/UHF compatibility and fairly long range. Its boom measures 110.5 inches, and it has 50 total active elements, giving it a range boost over the model below it, the HD7080P. This antenna can receive channels 2 - 69 and has an effective range of 0 - 50 miles, qualifying it for the CEA Blue (and lower) color designations. This is an outdoor antenna and should be roof-installed, and it is also directional. Its elements and hardware are made of stainless steel and coated with zinc to resist corrosion, and there are polyethylene boots coating integral electrical components to protect against weather damage. There are only two models above this one in Winegard's lineup, both of which simply have longer range compatibilities.
