The Whirlpool WTW7600XW is a high-end top loading washer very similar to the Whirlpool WTW7300XW. The main benefits the the WTW7600XW offers over the WTW7300XW are its larger 5.2 cu ft. stainless steel wash basin (as opposed to the WTW7300XW's 5.0 cu ft. basin) and its tempered glass window in the lid. Otherwise, the WTW7600XW and WTW7300XW share the same features and specifications, such as:  6th Sense wash technology, an EcoMonitor display and the energy-efficient EcoBoost wash cycle.

The WTW7600XW's 6th Sense wash technology ensures a washing experience that's as simple as can be by adjusting automatically for a number of internal factors (water level, detergent amount). Its EcoMonitor display allows you to quickly and easily see how much energy each cycle uses, ensuring that energy efficiency is always first priority, if so desired. Additionally, the WTW7600XW's EcoBoost wash cycle increases basin speed while lowering water temperatures for an extremely energy-efficient wash that still provides an effective clean.

This set is aweful! Mine has broke 4 times in 3 1/2 years!!! I have 2 kids and I cannot afford for this to keep happening. The central control unit, the bearings, the rotor processing sensor? are all things that have broke. I will NOT recommend Whirlpool to ANYONE!!! Whirlpool told me that I have to have $386 to fix it!! I should NOT have to pay for something that should be RECALLED!!! I paid $2300 for this set and it was the biggest waste of money! It's sad that I have to pay for something that it is NOT my fault it is broken... I will never shop with Whirlpool again!

After reading the reviews of the Cabrio, I fear for mine. New "energy efficient" systems combined with poor manufacturing quality are a joke. In the long run, these machines save no energy. By the time you consider replacement parts, service tech trips, shipping costs of parts, running the load cycle several times to actually clean and rinse one load, etc, etc, it is less ecologically-minded than the older machines.

We have had a cabrio washer dryer set for a few months now. We have model # wtw7600xw . I noticed a savings of about $50.00 the very first month and each month there after and to me that is huge. I know we are saving a tremendous amount of water too. We are on a septic tank system and the old style washing machine we had would overflow our septic system so we installed a seperate 40 ft infiltrator system just for the old washer alone but it flooded the new system too.
After installing the new cabrio set the wet spot in the yard over the infiltrator system
dried up in just 3 or 4 days and has been dry ever since. Love the cabrio set.
I was extremely doubtful that a " new energy efficient laundry pair " would make any difference at all but I a very happy to say "I was wrong" the cabrio pair lived up to its claim.
Larry.
