The Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6700TU is a high-end top-loading washing machine, which falls at the top of the Cabrio line, along with the Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SB. This washer is Energy Star qualified, and is 62% more energy efficient and 52% more water efficient than the Energy Star minimum requirement.  The large 4.6 cu. ft I.E.C. capacity stainless steel wash basket allows you to wash three hampers of laundry in a single load.  Like all washers in the Cabrio line, the direct inject wash system releases a highly concentrated dose of detergent to penetrate stains prior to the wash cycle, which eliminates the need to pre-treat stains before washing. Another feature across the Cabrio line is 6th sense technology, which determines the size of the load being washed and uses the precise amount of water required.  Heat sensors monitor the water temperature and a suds sensor prevents over sudsing in the low water wash system. The WTW6700TU has 11 automatic cycles (one less than the WTW6600SB), including one for bulky items, whitest whites and a Woolmark certified wool cycle. There are 4 wash/spin combinations, and the see through tempered glass lid will allow you to keep an eye on all the action. The delay wash can start the wash cycle up to 10 hours after being set to run in off-peak energy hours. The add a garment indicator lets you know the when it is still safe to add more clothes without affecting the wash cycle, and also features time remaining and cycle status lights. The ultra quiet wash plus noise reduction is Whirlpools quiestest system available, which uses sound absorbing materials in the front, sides and bottom of the washer and a quieter hose design. The matching dryers for this washer are the electric WED6600VU/VW and the gas WGD6600VU/VW. The WTW6700TU washer comes in a diamond dust finish or in silver metallic-on-white as the WTW6700TW. The dryers are available in diamond dust or white-on-white.

We've had this washer for 4 years now and it is fantastic. Does great with large loads and small loads. I love that it has a bleach dispenser for when I do the sheets for our king size bed. I would highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a high capacity washer.

This is the worst washing machine I have ever owned. DO NOT BUY ONE!!!! I have had mine for one year and have had to have it repaired 4 times. It is loud. It wrinkles and tears up clothes. It has leaked so much water on my floor that it ruined my slate floors. It has been a nightmare.

Terrible reliability. Owned for 4 years and have had 3 drain pumps, leaking bearings, failed door lock, and now it won't spin.

Mine's been great for 4 years. No problems and cleans even very large loads well.
