The Vizio VBR334 is one of two 3D Blu-ray players (VBR333, VBR334) released together in November 2010. The only difference between the two is that the VBR334 blu-ray player comes with an included HDMI cable. Regardless, both devices support 2D and 3D video playback in a full 1080p resolution. They also offer CD playback, DVD upscaling to 1080p, and 100% lossless audio courtesy of Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD. More importantly, the VBR334 player features integrated 802.11N networking with access to VIZIO Internet apps, meaning users can access online news & radio, browse social networking sites, and upload photos to Flickr and Picasa. Plus The device accepts JPEG and MP3 content via USB. There’s also a somewhat cheap and clunky remote.

Another DVD disc (movie) took approx. ~7 seconds to load .. load times may very between DVDs .. ...

Unsuccessful in trying to make a connection to an older Sony LCD TV using a HDMI to DVI-D cable.

The early model flat panel Sony LCD TV with DVI-D, VGA PC, component and composite video connections, --- with a square screen has both 4:3 & 16:9 aspect ratio ... predecessor to the rectangular LCD TV's with true 16:9 aspect ratio.

DVI-D is a single link - digital and analog computer video connector ...
