The VBR220 is a mid-range Blu-ray Disc player from Vizio, announced at CES 2010. Full HD video at 1080p resolution and 7.1 digital surround sound are supported by this player. Main features include built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi and support for numerous streaming services. Users with Netflix, Pandora or Vudu accounts can get video and audio content streamed directly to their HDTVs over the internet. High definition movie rentals and purchases from Cinemanow are also supported by the VBR220. Popular photo sharing sites such as Flickr and Picasa can be accessed for viewing slideshows, along with Twitter and Facebook for keeping up to date with friends. In addition, eBay, Wikipedia, news, sports and weather sites are also made accessible by the player. Surround sound formats such as Dolby Digital TrueHD and DTS HD are fully supported for use with an A/V receiver. Video output connections include HDMI, Component and Composite.
