The Vivitar DVR 810HD is a low cost compact video camera. This is similar to the Vivitar DVR 830XHD, but lacks an HDMI interface and doesn't use optical zooming. This unit has a higher resolution 1280x720 mode at 20fps, but they are both capable of 640x480 resolution at 30fps. In other respects they are the same, using SD card interfaces to record AVI, JPG or WAV files and the use of LED lighting as a flash and to illuminate subjects while recording video. They are also both Pictbridge ready for direct use with printers.
