Edit

The Vivitar DVR 650 is a low-cost handheld video recorder. This is similar to the Vivitar DVR 620HD, but is built in a standard video camera form factor. This allows for greater stability while shooting, but makes it difficult to fit into a pocket. The sensor has been decreased in sensitivity to 5.1 megapixels in this model, but the final output is the same due to post-processing inside the camera itself. Still pictures can be captured at 3261x2448 resolution, and video is recorded at 1280x720 resolution. The device can also act as a webcam, and connects using a USB 2.0 interface. Power is drawn from 3 AAA batteries.
