The Vivitar DVR 510 is a low-cost compact digital video recorder built for easy portability. This is based on the Vivitar DVR 508, and while there isn't much difference as far as functionality it has been redesigned into a bar form factor to more easily fit in a pocket. Otherwise the functionality is the same, and includes the same 1.8 inch touchscreen hardware. Recording is done at 640x480 at 30 frames per second, and when output to a file doubles the pixels to fill a 1280x720 screen format. Video is recorded to the internal 2 GB of memory, and an SD card can be added for extra space if desired. This camera works off of basic AAA batteries.
