The Vivitar Vivicam 5015 is one of 11 budget-friendly, entry-level compact digital cameras from Vivitar designed almost exclusively for children. The 5015 is from Vivicam’s extremely low-end 5000 series. It hosts a relatively weak 5.1MP sensor for capturing 2592x1944 JPEG images, and VGA clips at 15fps—which unfortunately is so low it may cause blurs and other unwanted side effects. Regardless, the device also hosts a 1.5” display, microSD expansion up to 8GB, and 8MB of internal memory, which is enough to support up to perhaps 20 or 30 images max. Most reviewers agree that the Vivitar Vivicam 5015 is only suitable for children, as its weak performance would likely infuriate an adult.
