Frequently Asked Questions
Is the grinder basket screen made of plastic, and is it BPA-free?
Mine is metal.
Does this item work for 110-220 Volts, or just for 110?
This soymilk maker is made in both 110 & 220 voltage models. The one here on amazon is the 110v. model. I have seen several of the 220v. models for sale on e-bay, most of which were new. They all offered international shipping as well. Some models may be "used" though, so check the details carefully.
Does this make raw nut milk/butter? It does mention heat, does the heat stay lower than 110 degrees, or does it cook the nuts?
This soymilk maker has both a heat setting for making soymilk and a grind only (no heat) setting for making raw nut/seed milks. I use both settings with mine and it works great! Fantastic, consistent milk products every time!
