The TRENDnet TE100-S50g is an entry-level, 5-port Ethernet switch designed as a more affordable alternative to the Gigabit TEG-S50g. It too features GREENnet technology for reduced power consumption, but it is limited to a 40% cut, whereas its superior sibling reaches 70%. Like its predecessor, the TE100-S50g relies on a store-and-forward switching architecture with non-blocking wire-speed performance. Plus the unit also supports Jumbo Frames up to 9216bytes. For convenience, the switch is Plug & Play and includes diagnostic LEDs.
