The TRENDnet TEW-673GRU is a high-end 802.11n router. Released in early 2010, this device is marketed as a “green” product that can also give users high levels of network throughput. In terms of speed, 300Mbps is offered over dual band radios. Multiple In Multiple Out (MIMO) enables users to simultaneously surf the web on the 2.4 GHz spectrum, and stream HD media on the less busy 5GHz frequency. A single Gigabit Ethernet port is found on the back of the router, allowing for uplink to an internet connection or another network. Advanced routing technologies such as QoS are also supported, meaning users can prioritize gaming, internet calls and video streams to their preference. Two USB ports are built into the back for network-enabled printer and external drive sharing. The TRENDnet TEW-673GRU comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
