The TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G is a router that allows wireless Ethernet connections through 3G networks. The router is compatible with a wide array of 3G networks, and can connect automatically with a third party 3G wireless mobile modem dongle connected to the USB port. A 10/100Mbps LAN/WAN port is available, and connections can reach speeds of up to 150Mbps with a 802.11n connection. It runs on a rechargeable battery, and uses a compact design with an optional car adapter if needed. Security is handled through a NAT firewall, IAC, and the WPA or WPA2-PSK security standards. Pre-configured virtual servers allow Application Level Gateway services, and further setup can be done through a web browser interface that is compatible with most modern browsers.
