Edit

The TP-Link TL-WA730RE is a wireless network range extender. The design enables the device to connect to an existing wireless network and extend the range, and a bundled utility enables quick connections to routers or AP. CCA Technology is used to improve the wireless throughput, and data rates can get as high as 150 Mbps. A full 54 Mbps connection can also be established when linking with legacy 802.11g products, and a throughput monitor enables tracking of how much data is moving through the system. Security is handled through WPA or WPA2 encryption standards.

This extender is terrible to set up unless you have an unsecured wifi network supplied by a TP-Link router. For all other makes, its lack of compatibility and dreadful instructions makes setting up a game of guesswork and experience - so, if you don't rate yourself 'expert' at this stuff, forget it!
