The TP-Link TL-WN822N is a high-end wireless-n USB adapter similar to the TP-Link TL-WN821N. The main improvements that set the TL-WN822N apart from the TL-WN821N are its dual 3dBi external antennas (the TL-WN821N sports internal Intelligent Antennas) and a 1.5 metre USB extension cable. Otherwise, the two wireless adapter sport the same features including a 300Mbps max wireless speed and QSS functionality.

The TL-WN822N's dual 3dBi external antennas ensure optimal signal strength and range, offering moderate to high signal strength through two floors and in less-than-ideal wireless conditions. Its 1.5 metre USB extension cable allows users to place the TL-WN822N on their desktop for more convenient access, also allowing for placement adjustment in order to achieve optimal signal strength. Additionally, the TL-WN822N's QSS function allows users to setup a WPA2-secured internet connection with the press of a button.
