The TP-Link TL-WR940N is a wireless router designed for small business or home networking environments. This is the same as the TP-Link TL-WR941ND, but the antennas aren't detachable. The router is built to stand alone as the main network appliance, and uses 3 fixed directional antennas to cover a given area while compensating for interferrence. Wireless 802.11n support is coupled with 10/100 Ethernet ports, and the router can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table. Broadband functions such as PPPoE, dynamic and static IP are supported, and advanced network routing protocols such as UPnP, DDNS and VPN Pass-through can be enabled. Encryption protocols include WEP and WPA, and a built-in firewall can filter IP, Mac and URLs as well as limit online access time.
