Edit

The TP-Link TL-WA501G is a wireless extended range router. This is similar to the TP-Link TL-WA500G, with an expanded number of wireless LAN data transfer rates and more elaborate encryption support. WEP encryption in 64, 128 and 152-bit modes, 128 bit WPA standards (TKIP or AES), and Shared Key Authentication among other upgrades. Similar to the TP-Link TL-WA500G, eXtended Range is used for a wider device support range. Multiple operating modes are available, such as AP Client mode to provide wireless access to wired devices, and the router can act as a wireless bridge.
