The Toshiba REGZA 40UL605 is one of three LCD HDTVs with LED lighting released in mid 2010 as part of the UL605 series, and as upgrades from the UX600 series. All models upgrade from their predecessors by incorporating an ultra-thin frame with edge-mounted LEDs for high detail, and ClearFrame 120Hz technology for reduced motion blur. Included with the 40” 40UL605 (and all its peers) is a Wi-Fi adapter for access to NET TV widgets, with which users can access VUDU, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, Pandora, etc. There’s also a USB port and support for DLNA file sharing.
