The Libretto W100 is a dual-screen tablet PC from the Toshiba company that is designed to rival similar products such as the Apple iPad and the HP Slate. Set to release in August 2010, the Libretto features two 7-inch multi-touch diagonal screens in an inner-facing clamshell design. The screens are omni-directional, with horizontal and vertical portrait orientation options, and offer multiple "virtual keyboard" options. In addition to its touchscreen capabilities, the W100 also includes a small trackpad that allows users to click, type and drag from a separate control if they so choose. Weighing in at 1.5 pounds, the device ships with a full version of Windows 7 Home Premium, powered by an Intel Pentium processor. This allows users to access games, pictures, music and video in an accessible multi-tasking environment.
