The Toshiba Folio 100 is a full sized 1024 X 600 pixel multi-touch panel tablet pc that uses an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and comes with Android 2.2 operating system installed. Bluetooth and 802.11 b, g and n compatibility are included as well as DLNA support and HDMI port for video playback on an external monitor or tv. 1.3 megapixel camera is also located on the front for video calling, and an SD/MMC card reader with 32GB capacity along with 16GB of internal memory are included. Preinstalled applications include Fring for video conferencing, Opera web browser and Evernote software which is designed for note taking and archiving that can be had in a free or paid version, the latter of which can be accessed from any location, affecting and updating multiple platforms at once. Although it is not likely that the Folio 100 will be released in the US, it has been reported that a 3G version will be released early in 2011. Internal battery is rated at up to 7 hours of use, slated for an October release in Europe.
