The Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5051 is a mid-range notebook laptop very similar to the Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5048. The only real difference between the C655D-S5051 and C655D-S5048 is that the C655D-S5051's DVD RW drive features LabelFlash functionality. Otherwise, the C655D-S5051 and C655D-S5048 sport the same features, including: an AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 processor, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, a 15.6" widescreen LCD display, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics processor, a 320GB hard drive and a 6-cell lithium-ion battery.
The C655D-S5051's DVD RW with LabelFlash drive, in addition to burning CDs and DVDs, allows for custom label burning right onto the top layer of any CD or DVD +/-R or +/-RW without the need of ink. Its AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 processor and 3GB of DDR3 RAM provide the C655D-S5051 with enough power to handle everyday tasks and moderate to heavy multitasking with ease. Additionally, the C655D-S5051's ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics processor allows for high definition media playback at 720p.
