The Toshiba satellite C650D is a 15.6'' addition along side the L and A series notebooks. It is a budget oriented notebook with AMD's Athlon II dual core processor and AMD's integrated graphics card. The C650D is designed for basic usage at home or office but it does not skim out on standard features found in most notebooks today. It is equipped with a 15.6'' LCD display (13966x768) for HD 720p contents; webcam with facial recognition software, and a multi-touch trackpad. Whilst many budget notebooks from other manufacturers only offer a lowly 4 cell battery, the Toshiba C650D comes with a 6 cell 48Whr battery to provide up to 3.8 hours of battery time. But with it's rich list of features, the range of ports offered is rather disappointing with only 2 USB2.0 ports, VGA video output, and no express card slot. All in all, the Toshiba Satellite C650D is a pleasant addition to the existing range of Toshiba budget notebooks, with its low price point and slid configuration it makes for a good option for low budget buyers.

This laptop is awful. Cheaply made. Hard drive went after only four months. Hassle with Toshiba over the warranty. It was "fixed" and now does nothing but crash. Absolute worst computer product we have ever purchased. Stick with HP or Mac if you can!
