The Toshiba Qosmio X500 is a high mid-cost laptop. Toshiba promotes this laptop as being ideal for fast-paced gaming, as well as video editing. The NVIDIA GTX 460M GPU  (with 1.5GB of discrete graphics memory) helps this laptop to stand up to the demands of online games. The simulated 5.1 audio of this laptop (coming out of Harmon Kardon speakers) ensures that you will have the clear sound you need for games and video. The 18.4" HD TruBrite widescreen display makes any video you watch come out in detailed form. You have your choice of Intel processors on the Qosimo X500, either the Core i5 or Core i7 (which can range anywhere from 1.6GHz to 3.6GHz). The 2010 version of the Qosimo is an improvement over previous models in that it has the NVIDIA 460M GPU (as opposed to the 250M GTS of earlier models), and has a bigger screen (18.4" as opposed to 18.2"). The Toshiba Qosimo X500 comes with an LED backlit keyboard.
