Edit

The TomTom GO 700 is one of TomTom's first GPS receivers to carry the GO name. The GO Series focuses on solid GPS performance, Bluetooth connectivity with your cell phone, and no hassle setup. This model features a 2.5GB hard drive preloaded with United States and Canadian maps if you're in North America, and European maps in Europe. Directions are said aloud in over 36 languages from a choice of 50 different voices.

Connecting your cell phone through the Bluetooth system turns the TomTom into a hands free microphone/speaker system. Certain models of cell phones can extend the functionality even further by letting you see your contact list on the TomTom's screen and allowing you to make phone calls or even send e-mails directly from the TomTom.

Specifications
  • 2.5GB hard drive
  • 400MHz processor
  • 64MB of RAM
  • 3.5" Touch screen with over 4000 colors
This older models of TomTom's have been replaced by the GO 510, and the higher end GO 910 which feature upgraded features and a larger screen at 4 inches.
