Edit

Titleist's AP2 Irons are intended for skilled or competitive golfers who want a compromise between workability and forgiveness. They feature the same dual-cavity design as the AP1 club, as well as the composite three-material construction. They have a medium face thickness and offer low vibration, a deep centre of gravity and accordingly decent forgiveness. The head size is smaller than the AP1 and the offset is more slight, the sole also slightly thinner. The result is a lower moment of inertia and decent overall workability. Ultimately these clubs are a compromise between the more professional, traditional cavity- or muscle-back Titleist designs and the more forgiving AP1's.
