Edit

The Texas Instruments TI-Nspire with Clickpad is one of two graphing calculators (TI-Nspire / TI-Nspire CAS) released commercially in Fall 2008 as upgrades from the TI-83 / TI-84 line of calculators. They maintain the same form factor, but add along a bevy of features including multiple representations, “grab & move” functionality, resizing, dynamic linking, and the ability to save and edit in-progress work. Plus specialized Windows and Macintosh software has been released that can essentially ‘mimic’ the unit’s functionalities. This means teachers don’t have to rely on putting the device underneath a projector light to display its content to their students. Featured is a TI-83 / TI-84 emulator that targets secondary schools still transitioning from the legacy models to the TI-Nspire series.

Additional Information

Since the TI-Nspire with Clickpad does not have a QWERTY keyboard, it can be used on the PSAT, SAT, SAT II, ACT, and AP Exams. Plus it relies on a Clikpad computer-like cursor control that can be used to point, move and click.
