Shape of the clubhead and sligh grooves on the soles help get the club through thicker rough

Cons

I have a pretty hard swing and I tend to draw the ball all the time with this club

Not great for golfers with high swing speeds- stiff shaft is not that stiff

Edit

The TaylorMade Burner Steel is a performance fairway that provides mid to high launch with mid spin.  The fairway features SuperFast technology which utilizes a light shaft and grip to promote a faster swing speed for more distance.  It also features a steel pull-face construction which gives it a higher COR for increased ball speed and distance.  The Burner Steel is designed with a large steel clubhead which, according to TaylorMade, gives it the highest MOI out of any fairway wood on the market to make it very forgiving.  It also has a CG position that is low and back for high launch.  The fairway comes with a choice of RE*AX 50 FWY or True Temper DG Lite shafts and is available in 15°, 18°, and 21° lofts.
