Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the country of manufacture for this item?

    China

  • Will this carrier work bikes with no top center bar on them? Its a womens old style frame.

Probably will not work with that type of bike. The hooks slide down the center pole and hook over the top bar on the frame. This works OK for my wife's Cannondale Hybrid but the bar is high enough on the frame that the hook can engage and keep the bike secure. The only adaptation that comes to mind is if you could rig-up a temporary top bar for the frame and I think i have seen those somewhere. The bar goes from the head stem to the seat upright. Good question.

  • Will this work on a Mongoose model 6061al 26" men's bike and a Mongoose #6061 24" ladies bike?

I can not answer to those bikes specifically, but I have put a large road bike and small woman's road bike on at the same time no problem. Even done a road bike and tri bike. The wheen holes are adjustable and should fit that way. The hooks are shapped differently so that a smaller bike can go on and the hooks still have room to move and catch the larger bike. Hope that helps.
