The T1000 is a pocket sized video camera by SVP. The camera is advertised as producing HD video. While it does record at 1080p, the camera records in 4:3 ratio vs true HD being at 16:9. Video is recorded using a 5M pixel CMOS sensor and photos are recorded at 8MP. The unit is quite versatile thanks to the 5x optical zoom, 2.5" LCD display, and image stabilization feature. Movies get recorded in the MOV format using the H.264 format. Using the MOV format and the mini USB 2.0 interface videos can go from camera to the internet faster without the need to compression. The T1000 also has an HDMI out means connecting it directly to HDMI television units for showing off video to an audience is just a plug away.
