Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can this be used while sitting?? Can the Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer be used while you are in a sitting position?

I have used this machine sitting in a chair. I am 82 years old and have just completed four weeks of therapy after surgery to remove a hammer toe. The object was to help my balance and strength. This is exactly the same machine that I used for ten minutes of my hourly routine. I must say it was my favorite and I am considering ordering it for home use. I sat in a chair behind it and moved the pedals one minute in one direction and then switched to the other direction. Several other people also used it and I did not see anyone stand. In fact I am surprised to see that it is for standing.

  • Weight limit?

    250 lbs

  • Has anyine actually lost weight using this?

Yes - I've lost about 8 lbs since I started using this at work (for reference, I'm about 140lb female). However, after about 4 weeks of use, I just wore through my first set of ball bearings.
