The Sony Xplod XNV-L66BT is one of four XNV A/V head units released in November 2010. All four models feature TomTom GPS navigation and high-definition audio/video playback. In particular, the XNV-L66BT hosts a 6.1" touchscreen that can be used to access live traffic information that’s updated every three minutes (HD Traffic), fixed and mobile speed camera alerts (Safety Alerts), DivX/MPEG-4 videos, MP3/WMA/AAC audio files, and JPEG images. Plus unlike its non-L counterpart (XNV-660BT), the XNV-L66BT also provides access to weather alerts and a Google-powered search function. Included among all four models is Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls, a PC-compatible dock for getting updated POI settings, and an acclaimed SensMe functionality that lets uers organize their music based on ‘mood.’
