The HDR-CX560V forms the high end of Sony's entry-level HDR Handycams lineup, and though more expensive than the CX360V model, first-time buyers won't find the investment unrewarding--as the scaled-up model, the CX560V features a larger "Exmor R" CMOS sensor with ClearVid array, the ability to take higher resolution 12.3-megapixel photos, a larger memory and more versatile settings. The back-illuminated, "Exmor R" CMOS sensor of the HDR-CX560V promises better footage--even in low-light conditions--and takes a broader shot thanks to its Wide Angle G lens. In addition to 1920 x 1080 24p high definition footage, it also takes 12.3-megapixel photos, both of which are recorded to a 64GB internal flash memory that can store up to 26 hours of video. Other features include a 3" LCD touch screen display, Wind Noise Reduction, a Nightshot feature, built-in flash and a dial with a customizable function.
