The Sony BDP-SX1000 is an upper mid-cost Blu-Ray player. Sony promotes the BDP-SX1000 as their first portable Blu-Ray player. The display of this Blu-Ray player is 10.1 inches, and shows video in WSVGA. The resolution of the BDP-SX1000's display is 1024 x 576. This display has a 180 degree swivel design, which allows you to switch between portrait and landscape viewing modes. The BDP-SX1000 plays back both Blu-Ray discs and DVD discs. It also has a USB port, so that you can play media from other USB devices. The BDP-SX1000 has built-in speakers for audio playback. The Sony BDP-SX1000 portable Blu-Ray player has a headphone output on it, so that you can take in audio and video without bothering anybody else.
