The Sony BDP-S5000ES is a "top-of-the-line" (High-end device in the BDP series as well) Blu-Ray player, packed with loads of features including Sony's 14-bit HD video processor which improves both standard and high-definition videos through the included HD Reality Enhancer and Super Bit Mapping Technologies. The S5000 also includes Bonusview (Profile 1.1) and BD Live (Profile 2.0) support with a 1GB flash memory for storing downloaded files. The video is processed through a digital-to-analog converter; 14-bit/296MHz at 1080i, and 720p and 14-bit/216MHz at 480i and 480p with full 1080/60p and 24p HD video output. The S5000 also supports 192 MHz/24-bit digital-to-analog audio conversions with Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD decoding done internally.
