Edit

The Sony BDP-S370 is a Blu-Ray Player set for a Summer release in 2010. The player is intended to expand upon the most basic functionality found in Blu-Ray players and offer more than just full High Definition resolutions by reading Blu-Ray discs. The system can upscale lower resolutions to improve image quality during streaming video or while playing standard DVDs. Online fuctionality is also included, although a wireless adapter must be purchased seperately, in order to play videos directly from the internet without the use of a computer. Videos can be streamed from such sources as Netflix and Amazon Video on Demand. The BDP-S370 also introduces the option to use an app to use your iPhone or iPod as a remote control in addition to the one included with the player.
