The Sony BRAVIA KDL-46NX710 is a 3D-capable HDTV released as a much more adorable competitor to high-priced flagship Bravia KDL-52LX900. In particular, this model is nearly a clone of its non-3D predecessor (the BRAVIA 46EX700), the KDL-46NX710 features an LED-edgelit panel, a 6-degree tilt, and Bravia Internet video for video streaming. But it adds along 3D support (separately purchased transmitter and glasses required), as well as 2D-to-3D conversion for simulating effects, and Motionflow 100Hz frame interpolation technology for seamless transitions. Also included is DLNA compliancy for sharing media files, integrated Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, and a USB digital media interface. Unfortunately the system lacks MKV file support for ripping/storing BD films in 1080p—not to mention DivX HD, H.264, and VC-1.
