Edit

The Sony BRAVIA XBR-55HX929 is a high definition 3D TV that works with Sony active shutter glasses. This is the same as the Sony BRAVIA XBR-46HX929 and BRAVIA XBR-65HX929, but has a 55 inch screen. All other features are consistent between the three models, with a Monolithic Design created to blend in while off and attract attention when on. Corning's Gorilla Glass is used as a cover to provide durable and light weight protection. High contrast is maintained with Intelligent Peak LED backlighting, and fast-moving subjects are rendered clearly through MotionFlow XR 960 technology, which synchronizes the backlight with the liquid crystal movement. Online content is accessed through built-in Wi-Fi, and BRAVIA Internet Video and Qriocity are available as well as Skype functionality. Further integration with other equipment is facilitated by rear two-way IR inputs.
