The Bravia KDL-46EX710 is a high-definition television from Sony that offers a step-down from the company's KDL-55EX710 model and a step-up from the KDL-40EX710 model. Compatible with Bravia internet video, this model allows users to stream content from Youtube, Netflix, Slacker and other internet media services directly to the device. Personal content can be ported through Wi-Fi connectivity or USB drive, enabling the unit to function as a digital picture frame or a direct-streaming device for previously-recorded video camera files. Full 1080p high-definition content is supported, providing top-quality viewing of HD and Blu-ray discs as well as Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 console gameplay. Edge LED backlighting provides vivid clarity, with an included "Ambient Sensor" that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast levels to suit the level of light in the room. Improved motion detail is achieved via "Motionflow"120Hz technology, a system that speeds up frame rates and applies an image blur reducer that prevents unwanted distortions on the screen. The 46EX710 also features a number of eco-friendly functions, including the "Presence Sensor" that automatically powers the unit down after 30 minutes of room inactivity. An energy saving switch is also included, allowing users to cut-off power to the TV without having to unplug it from the wall.
