  Sony's BRAVIA KDL-40BX420 is a mid-range HDTV and is the middle model in the BX420 set of products. Its features are practically the same as the others, the main distinguishing factor being the 40" display size. Main features include multiple HD inputs (PC, HDMI and Component) and an automatic brightness selector based on the light conditions in the room.   It has integrated speakers as well as a 5.1-channel audio output. It automatically shuts off when not in use, and has a 176 degree viewing angle from both vertical and horizontal directions. Its remote control can sync with other BRAVIA products, such as receivers or disc players, to act as a universal remote. This TV has several preset display modes such as gaming or sports, and a USB input to display portable digital media. There is a 46" model above and a 32" model below this one in the same series, the KDL-46BX420 and KDL-32BX420, respectively.
