The 40EX700 is a 40" LCD HDTV from Sony's BRAVIA EX700 Series for 2010 and is an upgrade in size to the 32EX700.  The TV is designed ultra-slim, at only 22mm thick, and has edge LED-backlighting for high dynamic contrast.  It features a full HD resolution of 1080p and offers a MotionFlow 120Hz refresh rate for reduced motion blur.  The TV also has integrated 10-watt stereo speakers with 5.1-channel output and Dolby Digital technology.  The 40EX700 includes an Ambient Sensor which adjust the picture color based on the lighting conditions and has a Presence Sensor which turns off the picture when no one is in the room.  It also offers Bravia Internet video for video streaming and USB, PC, ethernet, composite, HD component, and 4 HDMI ports.  The TV is expected to be released in February 2010 and has a suggested retail price of $1400.
