Edit

Introduced on January 12th 1998, the D1626HT is a 21" CRT monitor from Dell which features a Sony Trinitron tube. Perfect for gaming and graphical design, modern LCD technologies are still somewhat inferior to CRT technology in some aspects such as blacks and speed.

Found this monitor in the hallway of the CSE building at York University. They were all upgrading to LCD monitors so they left them to be taken by students or janitorial staff. Boy is this bad boy heavy - almost 70 pounds. Dragged it back to our club room and plugged it in and was instantly amazed at the colour and clear picture it produced. Getting it home was not easy, but it was worth it!
