The Sony RM-AX4000A is a programmable universal remote control designed for home theatre systems. The RM-AX4000A is capable of controlling up to 16 separate devices, and features Sony’s Xpress function, which combines multiple commands to a single button. The Sony RM-AX4000A’s main feature is a large illuminated LCD touch screen, which displays a keypad, custom buttons, and clock. Also unique to this LCD display is the Air Slide feature, where the user can map commands to a single swipe across the touch screen. Available December 2006, the Sony RM-AX4000A retails at $200.
